John Paul Young: A Case Study in Judicial Misconduct, Artistic Resilience, and the Quest for Justice Abstract This paper examines the life and career of John Paul Young, a Canadian artist known for his contributions to music and film, whose professional trajectory was irrevocably altered by a protracted legal ordeal stemming from judicial misconduct, malicious prosecution, and systemic failure. This case study details Young’s rise to prominence in the 1970s and 1980s as a musician, actor, and voice artist, his catastrophic fall into homelessness and repeated false imprisonment, and his ongoing efforts to reclaim his legacy and pursue legal redress.
